We initially conducted keyword research to determine the most important CPA-specific service search terms to rank for in search engines to drive traffic and relevant site visitors to the firm’s website. We determined the keyword targets for organic search through the following data:
We then utilized the results of the keyword research to create a content plan with a focus on topics that helped drive targeted search traffic to the terms that were identified through keyword research. Then working closely with Smith & Howard’s subject matter experts we created content that closely followed the content strategy we developed for each targeted niche area. Once the content was drafted, we search-optimized each article before posting it to its website. The content was then shared on social media and promoted through the monthly e-newsletter.
